Many Guitar players have a TC Electronic PolyTune in their pedalboard. They can now discover the plug-in version of the polyphonic tuner.
The PolyTune plug-in that TC Electronic has launched today retains most of the features from the pedal version. Its polyphonic mode allows for checking the tune of all the guitar or bass strings at once, but you can also use the classic mode and tune the strings one after another.
The plug-in GUI reproduces the pedal and offers a chromatic tuner with a +/- 0.5 cent precision, up to 5 semitones for flat tuning, reference pitch change and a Mute button allows for silent tuning.
The PolyTune plug-in is available in VST, AU and AAX formats for Windows and Mac OS X. It currently has an introductory price of $39 instead of $49 and is offered to PolyTune Clip users. You can purchase it now at www.tcelectronic.com.
