#1
Hello all!
I'm sending out this message from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
I recently obtained a turntable to play the records I have been collecting. I would love to listen to my records, because the sound is warmer, and I believe they will be around much longer than cd's.
It is a Nexxtech Lab-1100: http://www.thesource.ca/estore/product.aspx?product=4202023&language=en-CA&ref=3284
I have NO idea what kind of speakers to buy, or monitors or pre-amps or w/e.
NO CLUE!
What do I need in terms of connecting this player to the 'speakers'?
I REALLY NEED SOME HELP!!
Please be patient with me, I am new to turntables and might not understand some technical terms :O.
Thanks in advance for taking your time to help!

Hey, here are some photos of my setup:
The speed changer...
Look at this ad please: I'm wondering first; if it's a good deal, if the receiver and those 2 speakers would be enough to listen to my records, and how to connect my record player to the receiver?

You've got the right idea - you need a set of speakers and a receiver. Those cables on your turntable, which are RCA connections, are plugged into the receiver and then you plug your speakers via speaker cable to your receiver. I don't know how good the ones are on that link, but any working receiver and speakers will do the trick...
