Value For Money :
Poor
For almost a year.
What I like: the old school side, the legendary stage, robustness, accuracy, simplicity, and it is too good!
I see the Stanton simple before but I really flashed on the Technics.
They are quite expensive especially in France (not far from 600 euros) but I could have them at good prices in Switzerland (749 CHF or 505 euros) in https://www.houseofsound.ch/ (a little advertising; )).
I think they are a little pricey but you pay for a platinum indestructible!
Thus they have a good side in time and are readily salable at worst.
What I like least: a limited pitch in a pinch but for most you need to type in Technics M5G in which is a bit overpriced
With experience, staying in the vinyl, I would do this choice. Otherwise I would go on the new Pioneer CDJ turntables that allow 400 more things and can read everything.
