Universal Audio has updated its UAD Software to version 7.2, which adds ENGL amp models designed by Brainworx.
UAD-2 and Apollo interfaces users can now get three new plug-ins, two of them are ENGL amp models and the third is a tuner, all made by Brainworx.
The first amp is an “ENGL E765 Retro Tube” with vintage clean and crunch sounds. You can also get some good distortions, according to its creator.
The second amp is the “ENGL E646 VS Limited Edition” for metal players, with sounds going from clean to crunch and wild distortion.
The third plug-in is a tuner with a dimmer which attenuates the sound while you tune your instrument, and a “ballistics” function that allows you to adjust the tuner speed and response.
Both amp plug-ins are available for $149 each, the tuner retails for $19 and a bundle with the three plug-in can be purchased for $249.
