Hi all:
Please, help me out with this. I'm having an audio gap/crop/stall problem on my system.
Centrino Laptop M 740 (533 FSB)
Intel GMA integrated
2 GB RAM
Edirol UA-25 USB
Sonar 6
2 audio tracks + 5 midi tracks. 32/16.
Every few seconds (random) the audio stops for half a second and then continues. For recording this is like a nightmare, as of course, the tempo gets shifted by this mini-freeze...
Thanks!
PD: It happens also with Reason..
OK, I've found that the problem arises even without Sonar, it seems a system-wide problem with my card: it just jumps , like if there were a small (less than a second) disconnection from time to time and this is very annoying.
Anyone with ideas, please??
Thanks

1 word: CENTRINO
WORST cpu for audio recording EVER.
either you get a decent pc, or you'll be stuck with this hardware nightmare
Thanks, but the problem dissapeared yesterday after changing the USB port conector and rebooting... Seems the one I was using is sharing resources with other Centrino things
