I chose the Cube DJ blindness Simply because it was one of the models most of the time resulted (-70%). The interface operates up to 192 kHz / 24 bit.

It is quite versatile, with 2 stereo inputs (1/2 and 3/4) and 2 outputs (same) fully routable, microphone input, headphone output.

The mic input and 1/2 are mutually exclusive, we choose one or the other using a switch on the front. Similarly, the headphone cable is that the output 3/4, and can not monitor the first.

Other switch can switch inputs 1/2 and 3/4 phono or line mode. All rear connectors are RCA, and not Jack. Finally, there is a slider on the top to adjust the output levels (or play DJ).

The product is heavy, not too bad finish, and not useless but not unpleasant, relatively aesthetics.

UTILIZATION

The drivers were stable after installing the latest update downloaded from the manufacturer website (2011). The interface is super basic, to set the frequency, latency ASIO play with to find your compromise, and most importantly, to route inputs / outputs. 2 inputs / stereo outputs are treated as 4 mono, it is possible to route anyone to do anything.

I do not use the recording functions, in fact I use this card for only a few out of VSTI Lorg Legacy. Outputs me look clean, without breath, without timbre, neutral, with a high output signal.

Conversely, the headphone output is disastrous. In addition to its limitation to output 3/4, it makes a serious vombrissement, where one hears all the electrical work, worthy of an output from a laptop. To banish. The map is self-powered by USB port, is linked to my hub? A map of the amp? No idea.

At latencies on a i7 2620m, to avoid cracking when climbing CPU load, I allentours to 16 ms.

GETTING STARTED

Driver installation easy, easy interface, manual unnecessary given the ease of use of the product. Works perfectly under Windows Seven with Acid Pro 7 and Korg Legacy.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 weeks. This is purely a purchase food based solely on the report features / price during sales, and this is my first audio interface. I am not able to compare.

I love the clean out and easy to route inputs / outputs.
I do not like the headphone output, poor and limited. If you have no other output on your system (mixer, multitrack ...) and you absolutely need the interface, review the notes down significantly.

I would do this choice without doubt, but at the same price. A full rate, one should compare the competition and numerous famous. But at € 49, it is very good.
