What characteristics have motivated your choice?
The number of inputs / outputs, integrated effects, the phantom power, USB power.
For what purpose?
Demonstration recordings for my band.
What is your config (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Disk ,...)?
X64 Athlon, 2GB RAM, WinXP.
With which instruments or systems (console, preamp, DTD ...) and you use the connection with what?
Guitar, violin and vocal microphone mainly.
Overall it's still unproduit flexible, able to do many things.
UTILIZATION
No problems with driver (except for a version where the meters no longer worked), I use Cubase and Ableton Live.
Edit of 25/05/2010: I get a fairly large latency (often 20 ms), but that does not bother me: I record in re-re and the card returns the entry directly in the output. So long as we live does not effect between the input and output latency are not detrimental. Otherwise, it can become I think.
GETTING STARTED
Very easy to use and configure, especially with the interface very intuitive Pod Farm. It's stuff for beginners (they're not alone I am one), and so it is perfect.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for over a year now.
What I like best: its value for money, the integrated effects that save time to start, its small size and discreet look black. I like the reassuring level meters (moving the needles, so it works). The separation of the monitor and headphone volume is very nice. Using plug-in is a real plus.
Regarding preamps and onboard effects: good, at this price point is really correct. After, you need to stop saying that it's stuff Pro ... It can be if we could have 2 physical preamp, 4 reverbs, 10 amps, 1 noise gate, a compressor and I do not know what else in the whole simulation for 250 € ... But at this price point, the components are more than correct.
The preamps are not perfect, but again, I preferred to have immediate effects available rather than buying a more effective interface but without any effect (I begin, I tell you).
