the installation of drivers is not an issue apparently.
regarding the use it is another thing, when it comes to record with a microphone for example. use very confused, after a month I still have not managed to use it. impossible to use an instrument or microphone with mic input and instruments! the card to me is useless. I am furious. I worked with a musician friend who knows yet computer music problems sound card ... nothing to do! Beware any instructions in French! My friend is perfectly trilingual, he did not come out.
the hotline of the French distributor of Motu (I've been courteous and reassuring on the phone) is supposed to remind me for 3 weeks, no news! not serious! because right now I still do not know if my card Motu 4 Pre is defective or not. With no info and any help I have no way of knowing.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it (or rather do not use it!) for a month, nothing is final yet.
Models tested before M-Audio and Presonus. no problem. cards that I made to pay interest to test a sound card. I had been windy the quality and seriousness of Motu! At present, I would do that choice. sell products in France without detailed instructions in French on the other hand is outrageous, especially since the user manual English obviously does not solve my problem.
