- What technical specifications motivated your choice?
the base I needed a sound card for laptop, and then as my mixer was not much I / O, I thought that the tascam is a good way to evolve my System.
- For what purpose?
Primarily for the recording / mastering evening (tekno and / or instruments).
But I also used to compose some tracks the guitar (rift / bass / solo ...)
- What is your config (motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
Asus laptop processor intel pentium dual cpu T2370 1.73 MHz / 2GB RAM / 250GB HDD
- Which instruments do you use or Systmes the connection and how?
I only use symtriss jack.

Between:
Online 11/12: signal from turntable-> table-> limiting
micro: in a
Guitar: in 9
Outputs:
1 / 2: Towards an active filter
3 / 4: 2 to crossover
2) Numrique / Midi
MIDI IN: KORG machines (the red and green)
want all the tracks in cubase (recording, samples ...)
with Fruity Loops in parrallle from time to time (patern, samples, ...)
UTILIZATION
- Installation is it without problem? Have you experienced any incompatibility?
- The configuration gnrale is easy? The manual is clear and sufficient?
Problem-free installation, Manual explicit standard configuration.
GETTING STARTED
- The drivers are stable? - Are they often put day?
the drivers seem stable search of updating regularly.
- What software do you use most often?
SoundForge, FruityLoops, Cubase.
What you get lag?
I do not really know but configured in "lowest latency" and pc: ok
- How many tracks you get record / playback simultanment?
I did try that six tracks read / write: no problem.
OVERALL OPINION
- How long have you use it? How do you report qualitprix?
purchased in September 2008 priced at 350 euro including postage with a dynamic mic available (not top quality but the microphone available ...)
- What is the particular feature you like best and least?
the most: simplicity, good dynamic knew her, the quality Tascam.
Cons:
* The output monitor (master3) can not be commanded via cubase,
* Not be able to route a path to the master simultanment 2 (must be doubled and assign inputs input1-> input1 = input2 master1-> master2)
- With the exprience, you do again this choice? ...
