Soundiron already developed two ReFills, the Granny Piano and Olympus Micro, but they did not port any of their virtual instruments to the Reason format, until now. They just released the Emotional Piano at the Propellerhead webshop.
Sold 99 €, the Emotional Piano RE is a custom version of the Kawai grand piano sample collection for Kontakt. The 88 notes were sampled with 6 velocity layers and you have samples for the pedal action. Soundiron also included attack, release, release volume, dynamics, pedal volume and main volume controls and the rear of the virtual rack shows CV connections and right/left outputs.
The Emotional Piano RE also features 41 presets for which the piano was placed in different simulated rooms.
The 1.17 GB collection is available at shop.propellerheads.se.
Also note that for the occasion, Soundiron discounts the Kontakt Player version of Emotional Piano to the price of $99 (a $50 savings) until June 23rd at soundiron.com.
