MusicLab has released RealLPC, a new virtual guitar instrument plug-in which aims to bring the Les Paul Custom Guitar sound to your studio, virtually.
RealLPC is a sample-based virtual instrument with an approach to guitar sound modeling and guitar techniques emulating on a standard MIDI keyboard. RealLPC provides playability based on the performance modes and keyboard layout as well as the key/pedal/velocity switch system allowing a keyboardist to perform guitar parts with “a whole new level of realistic expression, ” according to the company.
RealLPC is designed to cover practically all sounds, articulations, and techniques a professional guitarist can produce on their Les Paul, including mute, bridge mute, harmonics, pinch harmonics, unison bend, strumming, picking, chord chopping, scrapes, and more.
