I run a Macbook with Logic 9 and Ableton 7.  I have had no compatibility functions.  But, I do have this strange problem when I start up the plugin.  It cuts in and out a few times, especially when I play hard on the keys.  After about 30 seconds it goes away, and thankfully, doesn't return.  Its strange, it also happens with the EG70 plugin by these guys.
I've not referenced the manual on this one.  So far, I haven't needed any help.  All the features are accessible and easy to use.
The setup is simple and logical.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Despite that little hiccup when I first instantiate the plug in, it seems to work fine.
It does not crash or lose presets or anything else and after it "warms up" as I like to say, it is a real treat.
As for performance, I give it a 9 out of 10.  The only failing is the cutting in and out.
I have been using this plugin for about a year.

OVERALL OPINION

The best thing about the Mr. Ray is the sound.  Its spot on.  This is always the plugin I use when I need a rhodes.   I own the real thing (88 key Mark 1) and I am astounded how close it sounds.  Whatever those guys are doing at GSi, they know how to do it.  All there plugins sound fantastic.
There is not much to dislike about the quality of this plugin.  Its a great alternative to dragging my super heavy Mark 1 anywhere.
The quality of the sound is excellent.  It blows Lounge Lizard out of the water in my opinion.  I have tried many others but this one takes the cake.  I haven't tried Native Instruments yet, but I look forward to comparing.
Yes, I would definitely make the same choice.  I highly recommend this plugin.
