New features include full MIDI compatibility, Copy and Paste of rhythm patterns, and various other additions, fixes and improvements.
The mR-606 drum machine is reminiscent of the classic 1980's beatboxes that influenced both the Detroit and Chicago house music scenes.
The mobileRhythm mR-606, now that it has MIDI compatibility, can be a part of a larger music set-up including synthesizers and computer workstations. MIDI connections can be made using Line6's MIDI Mobilizer accessory (available separately), or by using Apple’s Core MIDI, either through a compatible USB MIDI interface or over a wireless network.
Other additions in this update include copy and paste of rhythm patterns, allowing users to build their beats by duplicating existing beats, and then modifying as necessary, without having to start from scratch each time. Parts can be copied “on the fly, ” without stopping the music, for use while jamming in a group or live on stage.
Pricing & Availability
mobileRhythm mR-606 is available in 3 versions: iPad, iPhone and Universal, for use on any iOS device. It is priced at $5.99 in the U.S., £3.49 in the U.K, and is priced accordingly in other regions.
mobileRhythm mR-606 is available world-wide from Apple’s App Store.
