Ive heard that Bornemark Broomstick Bass is a great bass emulator, as well as Steinberg's Virtual Bassist. These may be good to try out,....

Bornemark Broomstick Bass is simple amazing. Many bass sounds from real life instruments. Keep in mind that you need to set it at channel 1 to work properly and with correct release times and humanity.
Virtual bassist of steinberg is also amazing but has a huge disadvantage. It is only one octave length. So ,no big chorus changes with virtual bassist..
Also you should check for Hardcore bass, people say this is amazing also but I havent checked it out.
