I assume you want to know what gear you'll need too compose?
Roland- yamaha-Korg-Novation-Virus etc..........This is about hardware.
As for software, there's too much vst's so you'll have to try out a few demo's in a music store. It's about budget and personal taste mainly.
And the rest is about inspiration and hard work I guess.
