TopicPosted on 02/16/2004 at 00:06:51distorted electric guitar vsti
hi there..
i wanted to ask whether anybody of you knows a good electric guitar vsti (best would be free of course, but if it has a good professional sound and is worth it, then of course i'd be willing to pay ;) )
it's main use would be in "offensive hip hop" either as a rythm instrument or playing short lead parts..
best would be if there was a distortion/overdrive effect that could be turned off for rythm purposes.
if anybody knows a good vsti plese help me out
thanks in advance

go to www.steinberg.net and check out their vst instruments section, there are some virtual guitar sounds over there. Haven´t really tried them but since their steinbergs one would assume they´re ok.
If you get a clean guitar sound you might want to checkout amplitube also at www.amplitube.com. Their plugin is does some really great sounding modelling....
