Thread VST Install question

How do you install VST packages which are not .dll? I normally install .dll files in the folder 'n-track studio'.

Now if the files are, say, .vsb or Media Player files, do you still extract them to this folder cause I tried this but Cubase didn't recognise them when I open the Devices/VST Instruments menu? Thanks.

Normaly, you should install the package in your VST plug folder

C:/program files/steinberg/vst plugin

;)
