Can anyone give me advice about changing the memory myself in my notebook. I am going to upgrade from (2X 256MHz) 512 to 1Gig memory. I am a bit skeptical about doing it myself. has anyone done this on the new G4 themselves? Was it simple or is it better to have a professional do it? Never tried it before. :rolleyes:

Also how much memory is required for programs like Reason to run smoothly with multiple track layers with effects?

I think 1 Giga is not enough. (it depends what effect and samples do you use)
