AudioSpillage has announced the release of MiniSpillage, a free drum synthesizer AU plug-in for Mac OS X with a DSP audio engine and a set of synthesis algorithms designed for electronic percussion sounds.
MiniSpillage offers a subset of the features available in DrumSpillage (AudioSpillage’s forthcoming commercial drum synth) but in a compact format.
“MiniSpillage is not a recreation of classic drum machine glories nor a homage to the past but instead aims to break new ground and provide the modern musician with an original electronic percussion instrument, ” the company says.
