Wavesfactory has updated its BoomWhackers sample library for Kontakt 4 and above.

Boomwhackers is a sample library for Kontakt 4 (and above) that features three octaves of these funny coloured plastic tubes that make a musical pitch when struck into any kind of surface. The samples were recorded in stereo in a dry studio with 5 velocity layers and 5 round robin, and the library features an advanced script that lets the user add up to 5 players with spread and random controls. Other features include round robin counter, tone, width, velocity curve, dynamic range and sample offset.

In addition, this new version offers a new script that lets you add and control up to 12 DSP effects right on the GUI, including convolution reverb (with 30 IRs), tempo synced delay, distortion and lo-fi.

This update is free for previous purchasers of Boomwhackers. For new buyers, price is €19.95.
