Hornet Plugins has updated its explicitly-named VUMeter plug-in.
In this new version, the plugin changes its behavior after being copied to a new track as auto gain is restarted by double-clicking on the gain knob. Also, the auto gain was added a limit so that no peak can exceed –6dBFS (a feature aimed at avoiding clipping with hi hats or snares, according to the developer). A user manual was also added.
VU Meter’s version 2.3.1 is available now in AU, VST and VST3 formats. It is free for registered users and still costs €3.99 for new purchasers.
