AudioThing has released a new WAV and Kontakt library that features the synthetic strings and cello sounds of the Elka Rhapsody 490.
Called EKR490, this new collection features two Kontakt patches, one with the sounds in their original state and the other with a tuned version of these violin and cello, for a total of 147 samples in 24-bit / 44.1 kHz format. You can also choose between the strings only (violins) or a combination of both instruments.
You can adjust in the Kontakt GUI the enveloppe attack and release, the cutoff and resonance for the 12 dB/octave low-pass filter and a reverb is also included.
EKR490 is available for the introductory price of 12 € at www.audiothing.net, regular price is 14 €.
