Published on 05/13/13 at 04:09SampleMoog is a sound bank Moog (Minimoog, taurus, prodigy, memory, ...) that can be modified (envelope filter effects), so this is a rombleur
PC: install a bit long code into the app manager autorization (internet connection) => there are better but it is not too heavy (and no ilok key)
(80 € at the moment, but often promo)
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Not seen the manual but it is very easy to manage
The interface is similar to other IK products (SampleTank, ...) with 16 parts or assignable MIDI channels. For each part, we choose the bank's and the different effects
VST, the app is pretty light (as SampleTank or Kontak)
OVERALL OPINION
Contained in bunddle total IK, the SampleMoog is correct and very easy to use. Having ready-made and used in the state banks, greatly facilitates and I find myself using it quite often.
But I have other VST even more prestigious (as arturia distributed very temporarily free), and even hard synth (virus), but having a solution ready for use quickly leads me to use in hard mode, which often ends in definitive fashion
So I advise those who do not want to sound design
PS: I am not of the opinion of the precedent has been free linnar. While banks do not sweat but with integrated drive effect or another free (or other CamelCrusher MDA VarietyOfSound, ...)) it's very good
