2 new VSL vocal libraries announced

VSL will soon launch two new sample libraries, one featuring 7 solo voices and the other one dedicated to whistle.

VSL Vienna Solo Voices features the voices of thee women (a soprano coloratur, a soprano and a mezzo soprano) and four men (alto, tenor, barytone and bass) recorded separately so you can add solo vocals or ensembles to cover the entire vocal register in a capella or polyphonic tracks.

You’ll find in the collection multiple articulations, including staccatos, sustains, legatos, sforzandos, crescendos, diminuendos, trills and glissandos. You’ll also get 4 dynamic layers and staccato repeats for the ta, pa, ra, sa, tu, pu, ru and su sounds.

VSL Vienna Solo Voices will be available in two editions: the Standard Library for 295 € and the Full Library for 490 €.

Second upcoming library announced by VSL, the Vienna Whistler compiles recordings of horn player Marcus Schmidinger whose whistler talents had been noticed during the recordings of Brass and Epic Horns. This library features notes of different lengths (staccato, portato, looped sustains) with and without vibrato, as well as legato performances, portamentos, repeats, trills, bends and falls.

Vienna Whistler will be available for 55 €
