« WOW!! This is the real deal. »
Published on 02/21/12 at 13:21This is a Multi-sampled instrument. The configuration is simple to get going, but fairly complex when it comes to learning all this package has to offer. For example, the phrase builder is quite amazing and can yield some great stuff, but it takes a little time to get really comfortable with it.

You get so many options in this instrument it's amazing. You get around 30 vowels/phrases to use, and a full range of voices from bass to soprano and boys choir. You also get various styles lice staccato, sustain, and legato. You also get the phrase builder I mentioned above that takes it to a whole other level of creativity. I run this in Kontakt 5 on a Macbook Pro i7 8gb ram with an RME Fireface 800. I write mostly electronica and rock these days and I think I might be over using this unit....hehe. I've only used it on one clients recording so far, but they mentioned they wanted a huge choir pad for one of there ballads and I showed them this. They were instantly pleased.
OVERALL OPINION
What I love most about this instrument is the high level of realism. If programmed/played properly, I would bet this would fool most everyone in thinking you had a real choir for your recording session. This is truly a Marvel of modern sampling and an amazing tool for anyone looking to have that Pro choir sound without having to hire 30 people and a lot of recording equipment. Although $800 is a lot of money, it's a heck of a lot cheaper than recording the real thing yourself. 10 out of 10 for precision and quality. I have been using choir "patches" and synths since my first yamaha keyboard in 1990. Never have I heard such quality....ever! Yes, if you can throw down the cash, this is an excellent buy for all the times you want a beautiful, soft choir or all those times you just want to sound EPIC!
