SOUNDS

Some sounds right for me and not others.
Good response but it is not enough for a good expression

OVERALL OPINION

I bought the 6 MOX attracted by the reputation of motif X and more than the weight (7 kg).

I speak especially of the musicality of the instrument. As for technical aspects, my colleagues speaking in this subject do very well.

I have worked for many years with Cubase using sounds that change in recent years has been dramatic: the Vienna strings, brass Tom project, the quality of pianos d'Ivoire not to mention the wonder of small Synfull.

Being able to have a sequencer arranger-mobile was too tempting. I appreciate the ease and speed with which one can compose an arrangement, provided it is not too ambitious for the quality of the samples.

Indeed, I see that his level, Yamaha, except for drum sounds, the quality has not moved, or very little, for at least a decade.

The pianos are stunted and useless in single player. Just s'lls agreements are used to support. The strings can hide next to the Korg to 15 years ago, and controls to enhance the expression of the strings are still a distressing poverty (but this is a problem almost all of synths and players ropes). Aside from the drum and the combinatorial possibilities of the arpeggiator, I feel to play on an instrument of 90 years.

However, I keep it because it pulls me in mobile business.

The documentation is provided, but it suffers from major shortcomings for which he must fend for himself, especially at the multi-track recording and audio interface applications.
