First of all it is a MIDI master keyboard with USB: that does not require any USB or other, it plugs directly into the PC, it is quickly recognized and we can begin to play without worries!

UTILIZATION

The touch keyboard is fine with me: it is sensitive to a certain velocity (certainly not that of the great keyboards, but still!).
I used to some of my compositions, using Stduio FL. It is very convenient to create some drum loops (simples..) Or even add a little more than a piece!
The general configuration of the keyboard is quite nice, seems reliable. It is especially small, so transportable anywhere. I even created a piece this summer when I went on holiday with!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 months (and he is still alive!).
I have not tried other models because it had very good feedback from user reviews (including AF), unlike the Korg nanoKEY.

What characteristics have motivated your choice?

Being in a small apartment I is not "corner" or working on my beats, with the LPK25 and my aluminum macbook I'm in the sofa, living room, across the bed ... well, a model of nomadism. The keyboard is very easy to use. No installation required. The keys respond perfectly. Everything is sturdy and lightweight.

Only downside, the color indicating the octave shift remains the same. Impossible to know on what octave you play. It would have been better if the color suits.
There is no possibility to change the velocity curves.

UTILIZATION

It must first be tolerant, it is a mobile keyboard format which is surprising, it has real keys velocity sensitive (he buried without harm to the nanoKEY korg) and the object seems fairly robust.

The negative point is clearly touching the keyboard, this one is not very pleasant, and it is almost impossible to play with so sweet because the notes are not captured if the attack toucas too gently.

At the final fifty euro we are left with a small portable keyboard, touch rough but that is certainly the case for dialing into the train by example with a laptop.

The value for money is OK given the quality of manufacture (Akai products are impressive on that front), it is not perfect but it's not a toy either.
