Hi guys can someone please explain to me the way to hook up my novation remote sl to my computer?

should i use the usb cable to my pc or run midi cables to my sound card (MOTU ULTRALITE) ? whats the difference?

You can use either method, they'll both work. Usb is probably simpler when interfacing with your computer. You can use the midi connections on sound modules or other stuff that don't have USB connections.
