Nektar shared its booth at Musikmesse 2014 with Bitwig, the moment was perfect to announce the integration of the DAW with the Panorama.
Bitwig users who own the Panorama P4, P6 or P1 controllers will be able to control the mixer, instruments, effects, transport, clips and scenes of the DAW from the Nektar devices.
The Bitwig iStudio ntegration with the Panorama controllers is similar to the Reason and Cubase integration, but Nektar added this ability to browse the Bitwig Studio effect and instrument patch libraries, with order by category or author.
Also new is a step sequencer feature that uses the 8 buttons and LED to program up to 32 step per sequence.
The integration patch for Bitwig Studio will be available for free download on March 26th, the date the DAW will be released.
