<div>This translation sucks, doesn't make any sense.</div><div>
</div>I was a bit lost in the choices for a pair of monitoring config for my home studio (room of about 25m2) on Onyx 1640. After listening between: MSP10, and Genelec 8040A MSP7, my choice was the MSP7.

When switching between 10 and MSP msp 7, the difference is breathtaking, although about two times smaller, the release MSP7 more bluntly. My initial choice for the MSP10 was then put aside.

As for the Genelec, their sound quality is excellent, but much more appropriate to listen to me. The warmth of sound is very good but they have too much presence not to tire the ear after several hours. However the ideal would be to take the Genelec after listening to mix and msp 7 for the product.

In any case, according to my expectations (compositions rather rock / electronica) the MSP7 have convinced me, I'll come back here when I had a little more perspective on their use, but for now It is a 10 of 10 for me

SOUNDS

- Low but not generous monolythique
- Neutrality perfect sound for my work in composition and mix
- Stereo and perfect details
- Does not tire the ear after several hours of work

OVERALL OPINION

Quality / price, but still beyond the reach of any grants, it must still déboursser € 1000
