The comparison with other

SOUNDS

It's neutral, very precise very detailed, in depth big treble
Acuna impression of the speakers flateuses in the negative sense
The dynamics and distribution super important for a speaker of this size ...

Lack can be a (small) hair down, even with the wall very close to everyday listening but hey ca be corrected:

The enclosure has a LOW CUT, it is by default to 80Hz, it filters the (very) low for clarity, but after disabling the low cut, the speakers have a perfect hi-fi up to a very high volume!

OVERALL OPINION

After 3 ½ months of listening I'm hooked.
These speakers make any unnecessary channel hi-fi
Value for money ouf
I tested 5 (prodipe - m audio - other yams - edirol) store only to me Strongly believes are the yamaha
Edit: I love the comuter in the back!
and particularly in the high-trim classic 2db listening (mp3 etc)
makes the sound a bit more flattering
the coup 9
I want to say that the HS80 (the model above) have a sound to die for
A little more precise, with stunning bass
+ Bcp but are bulky, heavier and more expensive.

I put no more max becaufe it exists and I think the monitors are too expensive in general for their performance even the yams
