Best value:
Excellent
I had the HS50 that I loved, very accurate, but not enough bass. So I bought the big sisters.
Use: home studio to strum on Reason.
Config: MBP 13 ', Reason, Sound Card M-Audio ProFire 610.
SOUNDS
I am not an expert but the sound remains clean. Attention to investment, next to a wall or against a corner, and grabs an ugly bump at 150 hz, the bass becomes runny. This is the disadvantage of the vent behind.
The mediums are a bit less clear than the HS50. Ideally they should be two pairs of the range.
OVERALL OPINION
It's been two years since I use them occasionally.
Before, I had the HS50.
I like their look, the fact that they are accurate even at low volumes.
A 320 € used, the price / quality ratio is good.
Given my use, I would do this choice. No need to invest in Adam or Genelec costing RSA 5 (minimum).
But I understand those who want to move to the upper range, some voices in the medium are struggling to find their seats.
