I sought to correct hp price.
use: prod electro, rock and pop mix, mastering

SOUNDS

I have listened to many other monitors, all price ranges.

the HS 80 seem well balanced, accurate, maybe a little soft in the bass, but the balance is good and allows equalizer correctly.

it is advisable to keep them away from walls because of the vents at the back .. to avoid resonances. mine are pretty close to the wall, I do not think there is a problem.

OVERALL OPINION

I use them for 4 years. I also krk RP6 rokit (worse! too low)

I had heard a lot of models with friends, and when I acetées, I've done all the stores in the area, and listened to all the monitors (100 to € 2000!). is by directly comparing really means the particularity of each speaker.

I think at this price, there's a lot of stuff rotten. the HS 80 are very correct, I think it's an interesting choice. sufficient without a subwoofer.

(Hint: avoid krk RP6, there is too much bass coming out of the vents for the electro mix is not great. HS80 are the best I think)
