Value For Money :
Excellent
A value and reliability of YAMAHA. All studios in the world have a pair (worthy replacement NS10). 9a serves its purpose, but there are limits. I use Studio Pro to check the mix made with other systems. If it's on the HS is that it goes everywhere if it is ugly, there is reason to worry. This is really the test of truth. It is almost inevitable to have a pair.
SOUNDS
Yes, everything is returned as fidèelement we will not search the boom boom. Attentions in serious surprises. It can be found either with holes or with excess instead of tapping unbearable cinema type (my field). A subwoofer is MANDATORY if you want to monitor properly the area of the spectrum.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 2 years and I have mixed albums and movies on Sev. This is a very good value-quality / price and yield very Honorable. Vraiement must have a pair even if you mix on other systems (ADAM in my case) to verify the universality of your mix. They are really a reference, but I highly recommend pairing with a subwoofer for applications requiring a proper monitoring and sub bass.
