Value For Money : Excellent
I was then chosen as the speaker is a very good value for money. These are the first powered monitor that I had in my home studio. She did it not disappoint, even if today I went to the upper range.

They served me to mix music and broadcasting.

I chose these speakers because it is relatively straight, they also have different filter his back to better adapt to the workpiece. The speaker size allows a low correct spectrum.

SOUNDS

The frequency curve is relatively neutral. The stereo image is correct by side against dynamic is at least bon.Comparé premium speakers they generally lack of definition.
Over time you'll quickly learn their default and you get a mix out not too bad.

OVERALL OPINION

I have used four years now I have Mackie HR824, it was my first pregnant and begin I find them very well. I also worked on from Genelec, Dynaudio, JBL ...

A good value for money, they are good speakers for amateurs and semi-pros.

The downsides: the power button is on the back, the soft dynamics, the lack of precision. But at this price it's normal.
