OVERALL OPINION

In fact, I do not pay .... (long story)
I already possesses Genelec 8030, so I compared "hot" in my home studio (room dedicated, acoustically treated .... not in a room that echoes what!) ..... And well, I ' I was amazed!
super dynamic, super stereo image, great sound ..... I even thought about selling but Genelec!

..... But .... (there is always a but) ..... I was in the mix for the post production .... and going to a "real big studio"
I've realized that they were a little too flattering!
The Netherlands is great, more generous than the 8030 (which does not come down from the ground) but suddenly the medium is a bit empty!

So I kept the 8030 ... more suitable to my way of working tool!

..... This is very subjective, because monitors is like a slip when you have its brands it is hard to change!
Moreover, it is only a tool .... some person comes to mix on some speakers and not others .... it can also be a political choice ....

So ..... if the budget is right .... this is the pair of monitor to have!
