First of all I want prciser my notes are related to lower my exprience and according to a report quality price j'espre goal.
Technical level: 42Hz-20KHz. between TRS and XLR. Power 120 watts (RMS I think)
I could go for a cost of these speakers ds store and compare their output to other monitor (Event, Rock ... but not the Tapco S8, DSOL. To put them in danger, I had compared to A / B with ADAM P11 (see forum HS80M)
Obviously use is to use it as monitors. I have little working space and the report puissance-performance/taille suits me perfectly.
SOUNDS
The curve of frequencies. of course I would not neutral. more there seems to be a lightweight hollow between 1kHz and 3kHz. nothing serious though, and it is possible that the location where the speakers are placed influential. anyway I was not finding it cost in the store.
acqurir these speakers before, I worked two days on my Genelec 1031 size and mix is safely pass on HS80M (with joy by the way!).
some precision: the event is up the rear: so you have low rgler rglages but for the guys yahama thought everything so we can attnuer up a 4 db bass. can also act on the high and med (-2 2 dBs). Finally there is a low-cut filter for use with a sub. anyway, I am a wall and prs attnuation after all is nickel.
Stereo image is not excessively large compared to Adam for example, but in any case prcise trs, trs appears the center well and the location of sources trs ease .
trs sound seems clear, the bass does not drool, but the highs are Submitted do not take the head after a long work session. (Just a few words about the location where I work: under my bed ... well as a mezzanine so I have a "cap matelassquot; m'amorti that perfect sound. Dansn see a place so vast and Different.
dynamics is "currently" excellent. I say yet because I do they are not rodes so the HP is still rigid and cause trs apprciables dplacement air. should see how the sound will evolve over time.
OVERALL OPINION
I use them for a week. j'apprcie currently some work that tests this week also work perfectly (including a pre-mastering to be a fate cd press.
I tried what was in store: adam artist (very good but more than double the price level), Prodipe, Event, KRK, ... it's my preferences with respect to work I do at the moment (rock / metal).
I think the report really excellent quality price. say nothing of the cot.

Oh one last thing from assimilation with NS-10. a friend who came possde a pair cost the HS80M and assure me they look nothing like these dernires. it seems to be the opposite, at the balance medium / high.
