Everything is said in two previous opinions on specs.
Comprehensive machine whatsoever in connection or configuration options. Intakes can serve as direct inserts OUT which adds 8 more in relation to direct out of the factory, which can be handy sometimes.
I put 10 for the satisfaction I had, regardless of the config (the home studio to live through the cabarets and repeat ...)

UTILIZATION

For those who know (and love (the annalogique, no need to read the manual (except perhaps some tips MACKIE signed, that was not used to seeing on other low-end consoles)

SOUNDS

The Mackie has no breath even after several years. It's been recently that I have mine, for I have against a friend who owns a 1604VLZ since 1996 ... Despite the years, no breath (unless it is thoroughly and again ...) and no cracking in contrast to what is said below.

I must say that does not apply any EQ (all @ 0dB) for my PC2R when I do a lot of the correction on my Behringer to try to get the same sound! the preamps are of good quality.

Admittedly, if one cares (no cigarettes, frequent maintenance, caress ;-)..., these devices there are hours of gameplay. I put 10 to enhance the cross because I note that Mackie is right.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had five months and I am quite satisfied. I BX8 couple with my M-Audio and it's class! I do not regret my choice and I believe that even if the price seems exorbitant (value for money below the mean), it is worth the purchase occasion. We can find around 800 to 1000Euros (nine 1450Euros).

The day I sell my Mackie will not be for another analogue, and that day, it is because I may be rich ;-)....
