Whoever achte pRSET for the synt,'s done! dtest who "program" sounds, everything to gain buy this synt .... .. as in A Day, thanks WITHOUT SUCH ergonomics, it is possible to understand how to make a sound, and do it ....
Of course many simply turning a knob or pushing a knob, even without that it is the purpose of this knob, or laziness, or because the manual is in English.
This can not walk! if one takes the trouble to APRENDRE what does what on a synt .. then the rsultats are immediate!
So please before you say anything on this synt (to something else!) That the person is given at least know the trouble to learn this thing. Notice must be given HONESTLY.

UTILIZATION
I had with manual ais English / Italian, clear enough, but I also have AIM franais.
The edition is unmatched by sounds from everything that exists now or in the past.
See my intro, there is no better in ergonomics ....
I have a JD 800 that fesait strong in this area, but here, with the standard screen that displays right away what "happens" ds as you move a knob, it carrment EXTRA!
I put 10 without hsitation!
SOUNDS
This is a VA, so it's not an analog.
as said prcdement presets are ch ... er, but the potential is l and for those who want big sound for "ground" and strings, it can be done, four patches together with a lightweight dtuning is the equivalent of 8! oscillators together, and I Oberheim OB 8 cot to compare, and it's not bad!
Of course there a grain, and a "instabillit" at The Oberheim OB 8, which is a difficult thing to imitate with VA, but what makes OB12 is very well done, especially on the pads , of brass, leads, complex sounds ...
The effects are good and easy to modify, the expression is good trs.
I RPET, but for him who takes the trouble to learn to master the possibilities of OB12, your exact (a very good rsultat) is at the VERY end of a road short.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for a year.
What I like most is its ergonomics great, and its potential ... and sounds that come out ... when it was given the time to exploit the potential of this synt!
I also love the fact that ALL knob sends "MIDI" and I also used to COMMANDER other machines.
I do not like is the manual only English and Italian that I reu, but this has nothing do with synt ...
I wanted more memory, even if 256 patches over the 256 "combis" (4 patches together) dja is not bad.
But as said, it's so easy to prcdement CRER new sounds that are coming to the end too quickly! (I may be 10 gard original sounds!)
I bought 950 EURO, and obviously it's a solid machine, because I use it very intensively, obviously this synt is made to last.
