Hello,
For 11 years I regularly used good old Tascam 424 to record my songs, mostly with 1-2 tracks of guitars, a bass line and a voice.
Of course this stuff is completely out from the digital! but the key is being able to record without stress, focusing on writing, composition.
I like the sound power level without going through the infamous sub-menu, directly with the knobs, there is no longer as simple interface, one button = one function.
The price / quality ratio is unbeatable if we buy on eBay is very reliable.
For me this is the best four tracks k7 frankly what's the point of breaking the bank all the time to renew its gear to models?
It's a great tool for the "songwriting" but not to produce anything at all to complete, unless a small group to fall into "low-fi."
