Analog-synthesizer 76 keys
Lever-pitch / mod + 2 assignable faders
- 8 outputs (4 mono + 4 stereo) + midi in / out / through
- 64 performances (= association of tones either split / layer / solo) + 120 tones (sounds only)
+ Chorus and the Roland "chase play"
Prog-no from a pc exept if the EPROM is upgraded via this site: http://www.colinfraser.com/jx10/romswap.htm
- Total polyphony of 12 voices in tone mode, six in performance (split or layer)
UTILIZATION
Config super lousy at noon ... By awesome! Against the pg-800, everything is possible as an analog to knobs on! Manuel shabby and very incomplete, the 3 / 4 of manipulation is presented, but alas not detailed in practice! a shame
So: no pg-800 rating: 2 / 10
with pg-800 rating: 10/10
SOUNDS
-Superb machine, which brings together the top all the synthetic sounds of the 80s!
No-realistic sounds (though the piano sound is particularly good for an emulated analog ...)
- The chorus is pretty good but lacks a good reverb. The chase is really EXCELLENT play, it gives some life to the bass lines that is great.
-The term is rather good if we clean out the contacts
-Pads to die, brass and insolent pechus (the sounds Europe!), Hovering strings and creamy, sharp leads, super romantic e.piano very typical, basses of all kinds (TB303, TR909 ,...).
OVERALL OPINION
Really for the synth cover everything from the 80's and even for the trans or hardrock. He and a sampler, you are the king of the group! A bold sounds far from all modern synths. It can cover all genres. A counselor at fans of depeche mode, cure, Europe, Van Halen, Jan Hammer ... It may sound like a Jupiter or almost like a dx to you to program but the rewards are worth the effort. An alternative to an andromeda a6 with more personality and the famous Roland grain, inimitable.
