2 months utlisation, no plant capacity monstrous, the disign and almost no noise.
I was working on pc with a pentium 4 2.4gz and Logic Audio / Cubase SX3, and I spent more time on the computer as music. This solved all my mac to computer problem. In addition I always had a preference for logic, and there with logic 7 I'm in heaven.
in terms of performance, to test: 24 stereo tracks with three effects per track (comp, rev, eq) + 10 track sampler EXS24, 5.6 + MIDI tracks, you can barely half the capacity of the beast .
Moreover, no problem either for installation or logic for the sound card (MOTU 828 MKII) all set in less than 30 seconds.
You will tell me the price ...?
Yes, but after the turn rates of PCs more or less equivalent it remains competitive, with additional guarantees more than excellent (and unwinding on-site assistance for all the pieces and software for three years). Consider also that this machine is so powerful which will not need to move in six months. And if that's not enough, for 2x2.5 obtez the stuff of 8GHz RAM and return to me.
I must admit it takes a little getting used to, from XP to OS X but then: what a pleasure!
I would do this choice without any hesitation.
