Hi
I've been looking for the best I can get in home audio recording for as little money as possible. Has to be external, have a Dell XPS 420, damn thing has no space anywhere, and firewire seems the way to go.
I've found the PreSonus Inspire 1394, an external FireWire audio interface, which takes 2 balanced inputs as XLR, both with preamp, and 2 unbalanced 5.3mm jacks. That's 2 mics and 2 guitars, which is 4 in total. That's 4 tracks at the same time, and it's all for £99!
I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate x64, which the Inspire is compatible with. I need something to run with that if possible. I'll be using Cubase Studio 4.
Anyone know of anything better before I go and buy the Inspire?
