Thread need to kno the best gear in my case..

,hii all ths is rikki a dj jus fo las a year,ve been listening n dancing on psy tracks n dnb fo last 7-8 years, n now i want to make my own electronic music instead of mixing others tracks, have tried to wrk on reason n fruity to make samples n prelimanary practices only wit a mouse n my pc but its not professional at all n hence i ve decided to invest some money fo buying equipments which should give me th best results and what i am hoping to seriously make music which i love n thats ,,psy trance,,psy dub,,downtempo,,ambient,,dnb,,urban undrground hiphop,,n watevr style is there in me in me,,i got limited funds,,,th tthings doubts n suggestions which i need to kno are::

1. my pc confgration is:: 1gb ram,intel duo processor,windows xp,,so whether i should upgrade,,if so whats changes i should do??
2. whether i should go for n mpc or a midi synth keyboard??
3. which synth i should go for??
4. is bass station necessary
5. what is Electribe, is it necessary??
6. i want to work on metasynth but i have never worked on a real Mac before, what should i do and which external gear(midi,synth or midi with wynth included,,which bass station,,which mixer,,mpc??) should i opt for if m able to transfer files from windows to mac or vice versa??
7. which softwares whould i use??
8. sound card n plugins??
9. other things necessary??
i ve searchd th net n ve read a couple of suggestions,,but i get confused,,my confusion is just tht which "model" of synth,,midi or mpc??,,midisynth keyboard n mpc??,,and whould be able to explore my creativity on metasynth too,waitng for th suggestions,,thnks,,urs djrikki..,,.
