Sounds pretty cool, except for the cheesy "get on the dance floor" DJ effect :mdr:

I downloaded it, too, and am looking forward to trying it out. If it's anything like the other SoundToys plug-ins, it should be pretty cool.

it is indeed 'way koo' as the kids say : ) I might finally use my own vocals in a track : ))

Btw, I uploaded another demo .. . this time of a famous Bill Hicks bit getting the Little AlterBoy treatment

Uploaded another one... in this demo i used Stanley Kubrick's classic 'Full Metal Jacket' for the source audio... and our beloved Gunnery Sergeant Hartman scene to be exact : )

quite extreme sounds, but a kool aspect of Little AlterBoy is it seems to keep the words understandable despite the extremities. Whether that's musical or not is another story ; ) ...though the quantize feature exists for exactly that purpose.

btw, I made a typo in the first post... it's actually called 'Little AlterBoy' ... makes more sense than Alter : )

remember, you can still get
free Soundtoys Little AlterBoy for the next few days, right here:

Sticking with the Stanley Kubrick theme, I've uploaded another audio demo of Little AlterBoy in action. This time of the unnerving and darkly hilarious scene of President 'Merkin Muffley' warning Soviet Premier 'Dmitri Kissof' of rogue incoming nuclear bombers, from Stanley's 'Dr Strangelove'

just discovered you can control Little AlterBoy's pitch with midi, which I'll try for the next one.

btw if you're enjoying the demos, remember that tomorrow it becomes a commercial plugin retailing for something in the region of $80-$90 if I'm not incorrect. so get it for free while you can, here:
