Ampeg announced a new line of heads and cabs designed and assembled in the U.S.A.
The new Ampeg series features the Heritage SVT-CL, Heritage SVT-810E and Heritage SVT-410HLF models.
Ampeg’s Heritage Series heads are designed to deliver all-tube power using JJ tubes for the preamp stage and “Winged C” power tubes. The Heritage SVT-CL pushes 300 watts of power. The Heritage SVT-810E and SVT-410HLF both feature custom U.S.-made Eminence drivers. The enclosures are built using 15 mm birch plywood and are assembled within a stone’s throw of Ampeg’s headquarters in Woodinville, WA.
Pricing & Availability
The Ampeg Heritage Series will be available in limited release in March 2010 in the US and April 2010 in Europe. The Heritage SVT-CL will have a U.S. MSRP of $3359.99, a list price of €2499 and will be £2553 including VAT. The Heritage SVT-810E will have a U.S. MSRP of $1819.99, a list price of € 1299 and will be £1327 including VAT. The Heritage SVT-410HLF will have a U.S. MSRP of $1259.99, a list price of € 999 and will be £1021 including VAT.
