Pedal passive (no power supply), equipped with a (very small) switch progress slow / fast, and a tuner output. This is the mono version. There is also a stereo version.

Do not drop it on the feet, it is trèèèès heavy (even more) and very robust. This case is a model of its kind.

UTILIZATION

It a pleasure to use, its progression is very regular, and the mechanics of the tray completely flexible. The weight of the latter increases the comfort, avoiding sudden movements.

A little test to determine their preference between slow and fast, then it does not touch this switch.

Reliability issue, I just had a minor problem in four years, and repaired by yourself in minutes. Yet it has been well battered (a lot of transport).

SOUND QUALITY

Remarkable! It is perfectly transparent and progressive.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it there a little over four years, in 1000 francs. It's expensive, but its sound quality (full transparency and progressive perfect), mechanically sound, and its strength is such that it is well deserved.

I tried some more affordable models, but they suffer the comparison on any of these points.
