Double channel strip containing pramp (mic / line / instrument) / optical compressor (linkable) / Eq with analog outputs (+4 dBu / -10 dBV) and numriques (S / PDIF coaxial and optical, and AES / EBU , all with 24-bit 96 kHz convertos surrchantillonnage 128x).
Hyper good quip for the price, especially as a function interspersed Iron transformer APRS pramp the Burr / Brown, and thus allows to have 2 "tone" of pramp diffrent .
For 750 euros, it's really super full.

UTILIZATION

Operation is super simple. The manual is correct (but not as pdagogique and provides for a Focusrite). There's nothing complicated. That's clear. The only problem is the compressor that requires a lot of practice to understand how the rgler (nothing to do with a more standard style compressor VCA).

SOUND QUALITY

Between the output of this gives:

- Prampli: trs open. Trs beautiful treble, ars, dynamic and not artificial. It is silent except for the last 10 dB of the race and the breath rises suddenly. Gnial not when using a ribbon microphone (with an output level so really chick). For voice, I prfre lgrement a Focusrite, which will further forward and make the mdiums "dcoller" voice. But the instruments, there's no photo. Electric and acoustic guitars, bass, ... it's beautiful natural and "soft". In short trs prampli good.

- Compressor: The Joemeek compressor is mainly for their opto-electrical. They are individuals trs (nothing to do with other photo-electric compressors Bellari style ...). Here, you barely touch the buttons and change normment rendering. He asks to be rgler Manir extremely prcise, failing to obtain a standard pump. I would say the compression is bad but not the best. On an acoustic guitar, it is impossible to make a big compression (pumping awful and total loss of treble). The Joemeek do not like this type of instrument. on the other hand, lgrement rgl it will sound super clear and trspchu trs. On percussion, batteries, it is beautiful. A mix, it is ttonnant of clarity (it increases the impression that amme The definition of the mix). He trs Features and the grain quality that we are only on large compressors vintage trs. The trouble is that we must learn to use it because it is like no other compressor RULES. We can not do anything with, but when used judicieusment, it is absolutely beautiful.

- Eq: worthy of that of a large console. It may well change the color of an instrument.

- A / D conversion: excellent for a converter board. Trs by no means an RME. It is thundering to have such a converter of origin on a machine of this price.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 10 months. It is gnial but you really learn to tame it. It allows you to make merveilleurs, but I would say it is especially ax instruments. It is clear, warm, Dfine, and with the grain, which is rare especially for a machine of this price. The compressor is used as an instrument.

I should note the extreme care taken its manufacture, incredibly caring, especially for the price. The faade steel grazing and "sculpts" the painting class and trs trs beautiful, buttons and potentiomtres exudes the quality looks great, the VU-meters, ... we can go on. Ms. bottom of the rack cabinet is made of metal with quality (when tapped with a finger, made a note like a bell). The indoor bte rvelle of the same care.

Unbelievable for the price. Can compete with machines mythical, but not Home Studio East low-end (not quite as versatile).
