The first edition of the Wave Alchemy Producer Contest gives three winners the opportunity to win Wave Alchemy’s full catalog of sound libraries, a Kontakt 5 license offered by Native Instruments, the U-He Bazille synth plug-in, a Bitwig Studio DAW license, a coaching session via Skype with Mike Monday, subscriptions to AskAudio Magazine, Music tech and SoundCloud, the Synapse Audio Dune 2 virtual synth, licenses for Reason 8 and ReCycle by Propellerhead, the FabFilter Pro-Q 2 equalizer, artists samples packs from Loopmasters, the IK Multimedia Total Studio 3 and SampleTank 3 software, the Softube Spring Reverb plug-in, Celemony Melodyne Editor or a limited edition of the iLok dongle. Note that most of the prizes will be rewarded to the grand winner.
To participate, download the free 1GB sample and loop library offered by Wave Alchemy (you can also download it even though you’re not participating, icing on the cake), with which you’ll create an original track that you’ll load on both your SoundCloud account (free registration if you don’t have an account) and the Wave Alchemy SoundCloud group page. Don’t forget to list the names of the samples and loops that you used in the title description. The contest is open until November 21st, 2014, midnight GMT, winners will be chosen by Dan Byers and Steve Health from Wave Alchemy and the names of the three winners announced in the next 14 days after the contest ends.
