Software for making music videos with focusrite 2i2

My daughter the music enthusiast just purchased a focusrite 2i2 bundle. We get how to make audio recordings. Do you know of any software where we can use the focusrite for audio and something else that will record video OR something that will allow her to take the audio from focusrite and combine with a video from another source? Sorry no technical terms, I am not the music recording person here.

Hi Kristy,

Perhaps if you listed what computer you have (PC/Mac etc) users here may be able to help with some suggestions.
Most video editing software will allow you to import audio that you have recorded into them, some will allow you to create audio and video in the same program, again, suggestions will depend on what platform you're working (PC/Mac).
As an aside, a slightly different route to take might be the Focusrite iTrack Pocket, which was designed in order to record video and audio together on an iPhone/iPad:

Really great if you're looking to put together Youtube performance videos or similar.
